My Stridsland Beachcomber build

I'm in the process of putting together thoughts and specs for a blog post (woooo) of my build up and first ride on the Stridsland Beachcomber.

I did the same ride a year ago on a Kona Dew - a more hybrid / gravel bike with slimmer and smoother tyres.
I found it much easier, comfier, and a hell of a lot more fun on the Beachcomber!

Some minor scrapes on that chunk of 5mm Steel chain stay is not an issue, only a reminder of my first ride out. Suspect it was some sand from the dunes we rode through and a tiny bit of flex when standing up and riding.

The comfort and confidence this gave me was on a new level I've not had on a bike before. Some minor fitment tweaks to be made, either space out the BB or change the gearing sizes, dropper post, and go tubeless is about all!
