An amazing project to finish off the year.
Stuart brought in this Marin that he rode on the front of as a kid when his dad owned it, and Stuart now carries his son on it. 2 generations of Dad bike right here, and with good care, his son could one day have it.
It came in a little worse for wear having been used so much over the years. The fork was rusted and crackling a lot, so I had that resprayed and applied new graphics (as well as the headbadge) and then had the whole thing clearcoated to help preserve it and ensure it all lasts longer.
The drivetrain was a mish-mash of original and replaced parts so I kitted it out with a new 2x9 Cues drivetrain and V-brakes.
His original colour matched fenders cleaned up well and had new hardware fitted.
