This one was a fun build, and got the creative energy flowing!
81 year old Bill came in with a specific list of requirements and knew exactly what he wanted:
✅ Dropped frame
✅ Steel frame for 26" wheels
✅ Rigid, no suspension
✅ Sram 1x10
✅ Pedal cages and straps
✅ Easton flat bars with bullhorns
✅ Wrapped grip + horns
🤔 28MM Tyres ..
This was the head scratcher, as 26" road wheels don't seem to exist. But a mechanic from another store came in for the save with some 20 year old NOS rims. We got these laced up to some new Deore hubs and safe to say we're happy with the results!
Matched with one of our anodised headsets to finish it off :).
